V\u00e5rt arbeid som arkeologer fokuserer ofte p\u00e5 det materielle, p\u00e5 gjenstander og spor fortidens individer har etterlatt seg. Gjennom \u00e5 tolke disse pr\u00f8ver vi \u00e5 pusle sammen adferden og tankene til forfedrene v\u00e5re. Dersom vi l\u00f8fter blikket mot dagens samfunn er imidlertid natur og klima omstridte og viktige temaer. Vi reflekterer over v\u00e5re handlinger og p\u00e5virkningen vi har hatt p\u00e5 naturen. Naturen p\u00e5virker oss som mennesker, v\u00e5r oppfatning av omverden og oppf\u00f8rsel \u2013 samtidig som vi p\u00e5virker og former naturen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dette nummeret av RISS skal belyse akkurat dette, og unders\u00f8ke samspillet mellom mennesker og naturen. Hvordan fortidens individer og naturen har p\u00e5virket hverandre, og hvordan vi som arkeologer m\u00e5 h\u00e5ndtere dagens natur- og klimaendringer. Men ikke minst, understreke naturen sin plass i arkeologien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jeg vil takke alle bidragsytere og resten av RISS redaksjonen for \u00e5 ha gjort dette mulig.
